Mental Strength Training
Mental Strength is just as important to an athlete’s success as their skill level and conditioning. Mental Strength is often overlooked, leaving competitors and teams at a significant disadvantage. This course will help athletes compete with mental toughness.

Effective for all sports. Coach McGannon has worked with players from the following sports: basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, football, golf, volleyball, track, hockey, lacrosse, tennis, figure skating, gymnastics.
Each training starts with an assessment which is broken down into three categories:
- Handling Failure
A player’s relative strengths and weaknesses in these areas become evident when the assessment results are known. Coach McGannon will then discuss the PRINCIPLES of mental strength and provide actual TOOLS for handling weaknesses in EACH CATEGORY.
NOTE: this training is effective because the assessment is a springboard to what the player is going through. Improved thinking (pre-practice, pre-game and in-game) is universally seen.
